Questions

Does my Discover statement get uploaded?

No. Your Discover PDF is opened and read by JavaScript in your own browser, and the file never leaves your device. During the free beta, nothing about your file or its transactions is sent to our server.

Which Discover statement types work?

Discover card statements that are text-based PDFs with a date, description and amount for each transaction are what the tool is built to read. Layouts vary, so check the rows in the preview table against your statement before downloading. Scanned copies aren’t supported yet. RowSmith is not affiliated with Discover.

Where do I find my Discover statement PDF?

Sign in to Discover online banking on a computer or in the app, open the account, and look for its statements or documents section. Pick the statement period you want and download or save it as a PDF, then drop that file into the converter above. The exact menu names can change, so check Discover’s own help pages if you can’t find it. RowSmith is not affiliated with Discover.

What if a row comes out wrong?

Every cell in the preview table can be edited, so you can fix a date, description or amount before downloading. Compare the rows and the ending balance with your statement before you use the data.

Why does the first Excel download load a file?

The first time you download Excel, the page loads our spreadsheet library from this same site. No statement data is sent; your file is still read and converted only in your browser.
