Questions
Which Xero CSV columns are filled in?
The Xero layout fills Date (DD/MM/YYYY), Amount (negative for money out) and Description. Payee is left blank, so fill it in Xero or in the preview table first. RowSmith is not affiliated with Xero.
Can I convert several months at once?
Yes. Select or drop several PDFs at once and their transactions go into one table, sorted by date, for one download.
Is the file uploaded?
No. Your PDF is opened and read by JavaScript in your own browser, and the file never leaves your device. During the free beta, nothing about your file or its transactions is sent to our server.
What about statements in other currencies?
The parser is built for US-style statements with amounts like 1,234.56, with or without a $ sign. It doesn’t convert currencies, and other number formats may not be read correctly yet.
Why does the first Excel download load a file?
The first time you download Excel, the page loads our spreadsheet library from this same site. No statement data is sent; your file is still read and converted only in your browser.
RowSmith is an independent tool and is not affiliated with any bank.
